Is there a way to save copies of sent bounced e-mails?

Hi.

I noticed using bounce feature in Mutt does not save copies in my sent
folder. Is there a way to have Mutt save copies of those? I cannot seem
to find documents on how to do this. :( If there is a way, would that be
saving dates and times as original or the bounced?

Thank you in advance. :)

It's hard to know for sure that a feature *doesn't* exist if it's
undocumented ... so the lack of a response probably means "no".

I agree that it would be proper if Mutt at least stored, somehow
"you bounced this message to Foo at time T, to Bar at T2, ..."

The only "proof" I have of such things today is my mail server logs,
but they belong to the admin rather than the end user.

Just to drag this out six years later:

I would really, really like to be able to do this as well.

Any takers? :)

I should have thought the easy way would be to have a single bind
which would execute both copy-message (into the sent folder) and
bounce-message.

Agreed, just noticed this last week exploring alpine for first time in a
few years it does have an option to do this/playing with alpine for news
groups for first time with this reply...
Anyway, I am a mutt user/will be looking in to this. Of course it may not
be possible, but maybe with sendto hooks it can be done? Not thought that
through, but let's not give up/and if not possible we can make a feature
request somehow.
